Katie went to see the pediatrician today for her 18 month check-up. Just as we thought, all is well. We even got a bit of good news when the doctor said she agrees that Katie's umbilical hernia has gotten smaller since her last check-up only 3 months ago. I'm glad we decided to hold off on the surgery for now. Only time will tell if the hernia will close up on its own or if it will require surgery though. Katie is keeping steady on the charts and is a rather average sized child. Here are the official stats:
