The girls thought that Santa could use some veggies with his cookies.
Abby and Sarah each left letters to Santa. Sarah came down with a fever this afternoon and isn't feeling well, so she is hoping that Santa can help her feel better.
The girls have been asking for some time now when we could decorate a gingerbread house, something that has been an annual tradition for several years now. We finally got around to it today!
Katie's class hosted a chicken soup lunch for their families today. They each contributed ingredients for the large pot of chicken soup which actually turned out quite tasty.
Abby, Sarah, and Katie have all been taking ballet class once again this year. For this year's Nutcracker performance, Abby and Sarah were mice and Katie was a marzipan sheep again. The mice sneaked out in the dark, so the pictures are difficult to see but here they are anyway.
This year Abby and Sarah wanted to be dancers from the TV show Shake It Up. They put their costumes together on their own. Katie dressed up as a mermaid. As a member of the PTO board, I was suckered into dressing up for the Fall Carnival at the kids' school and therefore had to dress up for trick-or-treating with the girls as well. You can't see my costume very well in the picture, but I was a Pink Lady.
Hiking with Dad seems like a common recurrence these days as I am overwhelmed with work and need a quiet day at home to catch up on grading and prep work. This time Kyle and the kids headed down to Oak Creek.
