Oh My!

I left for a couple hours yesterday and when I returned I found the kids playing with water balloons with the neighbors while Kyle was working in the backyard.  Perhaps Kyle should have been keeping a closer eye on them.

The Orthodontic Work Begins

Sarah and Abby had consultations with the orthodontist last week, and we have decided to proceed with an expander for Sarah.  Today, Sarah had the first of a series of appointments to get the expander put in.  We'll take Abby back for another evaluation in six months when her top teeth have come in more.  Between the three girls, I think we will get to know the orthodontist fairly well over the coming years.

Happy Father's Day!

Two of the best dads I know working on our new shed earlier today.  Wish my dad could have been here to help as well.  He would have enjoyed a project like this.

The girls all made a visit to the eye doctor recently to have a thorough exam done.  No glasses needed ... yet.

Camping

We headed over near Payson to meet Dan, Steph, and the kids for a fun camping weekend full of hiking, fishing, and canoeing.  I always enjoy watching the kids interact with each other on these special trips.

Sarah and Abby out a little bit too far on the rim for my comfort level.  Katie had fallen asleep in the car, so I stayed back with her while Kyle took Abby and Sarah to the overlook.  I felt my stomach sink when I loaded this picture on the computer and saw it for the first time.  If Katie had not fallen asleep, I can guarantee that we wouldn't have this snapshot.
