So, I know most of you won't find this very exciting, but for us this is a MAJOR accomplishment. I took the girls to a birthday party this afternoon and left Kyle at home to work around the house. When I returned I was able to pull right into the garage. Yes, my car has finally graduated to the garage after 17 months in this house! There is still a lot of cleaning and organizing to be done, but I am so thrilled to have a spot between Kyle's cars now. Thanks, Kyle!!!

Happy Birthday, Jester!

Jester is 10 years old today! So hard to believe. He was at the vet last week for a regular check-up, and the doctor said he is healthy and commented on his very strong heart. Hopefully we can get a few more years out of him. We love him very much, despite his separation anxiety, bad habits like eating food off the counter, and stinky farts!

Sweet Abby

Abby must have taken an extra dose of the sweetness pill because she has been such a sweetheart recently. Here are a couple examples.

The other day she made me some "Cheerios with sauce " in her play kitchen. After tasting it, I asked her if it was pasta sauce. She said, "No. It's special I love you sauce."

I woke up in the middle of the night the other night to the sounds of Abby saying "Mommy" right outside my bedroom door. When I picked her up to take her back to bed she said, "I just wanted to wish you good night." I didn't appreciate this one quite as much at 2:00 in the morning, but it was sweet nonetheless.

Hanging Out With Dad

Sarah was feeling a little under the weather yesterday, so we decided to not spread the germs and kept her home from preschool for the first time. She got to go to Kyle's work for a bit while I took Katie to gymnastics. She really enjoyed hanging out with Dad at work. Hopefully she didn't enjoy it SO much that she "plays sick" in the future! By the way, Abby went to school and did great without Sarah there. These 3 hours were the most that they have ever been apart.
