Recently, Abby and Sarah have developed a strong interest in learning about history and cultures, thanks in part to their wonderful first grade teacher. So, when it came time to plan their birthday party this year, they requested a "history" party. After considering various themes based on history and cultures throughout the world, they finally decided that they wanted a China themed party. We had a great turn out today for the party. Thanks to all of our friends and family who came to help us celebrate.

When it was time for Abby to blow out her candle, she got the cutest little smile on her face and then whispered something in Sarah's ear. Next thing we know, they both leaned over and blew out Abby's candle together. When it was Sarah's turn to blow out her candle she did the same thing.
