Yesterday, Katie went in for surgery to repair her umbilical hernia that we have been watching now for five years. She wasn't too thrilled about the idea, but when all was said and done she agrees that it really wasn't that bad. She is still a little sore today, but that isn't keeping her from playing with her friends.

The day wasn't all bad. Katie received several gifts from friends and family members, including this Lego set that she had to assemble immediately after she got it.
