It has been a rough year for our family when it comes to goodbyes. Kyle's uncle, Mark, lost his long battle with Parkinson's disease last week. He was such a kind man with a great sense of humor, and he lived life to the fullest every day of his life. Ever since Kyle and I started dating years ago, we have made annual visits to Mark and Lorraine's house in Del Mar. They both have always made us feel so welcome, and we look forward to our time with them during each visit. We especially enjoyed trips to Tony's for dinner followed by a late night card game accompanied with a bowl of ice cream. (Mark definitely had a sweet tooth!) We will sincerely miss Mark but know that he is in a better place now. We love you, Uncle Mark!
